In four words, it reveals why everything we try to fit into our hearts to make us feel better never fills the void. They can’t fill it because they don’t fit. They don’t fit because the hole is precisely shaped to what was ripped from it. Only the original content will fit back into the hole. Filling the hole is the only way to be whole.
